The Nigeria Police Force has launched an investigation into how a National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) member, Gideon Gijuwa, serving in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, was murdered by some yet-to-be-identified armed men .

A Twitter user, @KingANAD, who disclosed the information on Gideon’s death on Thursday night said that the corps member with call-up number: NYSC/ADU/2023/058383 and hails from Adamawa State in the North East Nigeria was stabbed to death by “bad boys” at Mararaba area of Abuja.

“This corper was stabbed by bad boys at Mararaba, Abuja/ Nasarawa where he went to collect waybill. He was rushed to Mararaba medical centre few minutes ago and he was confirmed dead at Mararaba hospital, this is sad,” the tweep wrote.
