Nigerian Newspapers: 10 things you need to know this Wednesday morning
1. Nigeria on Tuesday recorded its highest COVID-19 cases in the country, with 663 cases.
Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, the Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, said the successful operation led to the neutralization of several Boko Haram members while many others terrorists fled with gunshot wounds. Announcing this after a series of meetings with members of the COVID-19 Task Force in Minna, the State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello, said with the eased up COVID-19 lockdown, the curfew will now be observed from 10 pm to 4 am daily.
NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, Adenike Adeyemi, quoted the Director-General of NYSC, Brig. General Shuaibu Ibrahim, as making the comments when the DG of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
