Nigerian newspapers: 10 things you need to know this Sunday morning
1. The Nigerian Medical Association in Cross River State has warned the state government against its plan to commence a trial resumption of schools is some states. NMA, in a press release signed by its Chairman, Dr Agam Ayuk and the Secretary, Dr Ezoke Epoke on Saturday in Calabar, said the declaration by the state government on a trial resumption of three public schools is alarming.
4. A student of the Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Grace Oshiagwu was raped and murdered within a church mission building, located at Idi-Ori, Sasa-Ojoo, in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State on Saturday. Public Relations Officer of the Oyo State Police Command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the killing.
7. The Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has disregarded the demand by the wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, to release her aides who are in police net over the shooting in the villa. According to reports, the aides were still in police custody till 4pm of Saturday.
