1. Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 election, Atiku Abubakar, has raised the alarm of plot to arrest him. This was contained in a statement by his spokesman, Paul Ibe, on Sunday. It said due to Atiku’s insistence that a server was used by the Independent National Electoral Commission , his enemies attribute a false comment on “mass protest” to him to prepare the ground for his incarceration.

3. At least 14 people have been confirmed dead and 38 others seriously injured following a suicide bomb attack at Mandareri-Sambisa ward of Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State. 7. The Governor of Imo State, Chief Emeka Ihedioha has told his predecessor, Rochas Okorocha, to shut up and return all government property and money, he and members of his family allegedly siphoned. Okorocha was advised to toe the path of honour instead of indulging in reckless utterances and blackmail gimmicks against Ihedioha. This was contained in a statement on Sunday in Owerri, the State capital by Chief of Staff to Governor Ihedioha, Barr Chris Okewulonu.
