A Nigerian content creator and food consultant, Munachimso Brian Nwana has set a new Guinness World Record, GWR, for the most fast food restaurants visited in 24 hours. The 22-year-old visited 150 different restaurants in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, to surpass the previous record of 100 set in 2023, by American YouTuber, Airrack.
The Abuja-based Brian walked more than 25 km, starting at Chicken Republic in the Gwarinpa residential area and ending at the Kilimanjaro fast food chain in the city center.
The Guinness World Record in a post on its official page, explained that 'no private transportation is allowed when attempting this record, and with the city’s limited public transit options, Brian completed the entire route on foot. 'To successfully achieve the record, at least with the requirement, 75% of the orders are food.' Brian said he ate “probably enough to last a week” and made an effort to taste something – even if just a mouthful – from the majority of places he visited.
