A Nigerian government delegation led by the Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, is currently meeting with members of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors, NARD, at the National Assembly In Abuja. The purpose of the meeting is to address and find a solution to the imminent strike by resident doctors, Among those attending the meeting are; first Vice-President of NARD, Nnamdi Ndi-Ezuma, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance Special Duties, Okokon Udo, TheCable reports.

Among those attending the meeting are; first Vice-President of NARD, Nnamdi Ndi-Ezuma, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance Special Duties, Okokon Udo, TheCable reports. Early in July, NARD issued a two-week ultimatum to the government for the implementation of all its demands.
