The Nigerian government has said that it will soon restore electricity supply to several states in Northern Nigeria plunged into weeklong darkness. This was disclosed in a statement through the official account of Nigeria National Grid on Saturday.
According to the statement, temporary 400 megawatts of power is expected to be supplied to the region through the Ugwuaji APIR Line.
reports that Kaduna, Kano, Jigawa, Benue, Katsina, Taraba, Gombe, Borno, Nasarawa, and other northern states were thrown into darkness over national grid collapse.
