A notorious terrorist leader, Ali Dogo and dozens of his fighters have been neutralized in Kaduna State.

Sometimes called Yellow, Dogo and gang members were killed in an air raid conducted by Operation Whirl Punch.They relocated to the residence of one Alhaji Gwarzo in Yadi, Giwa Local Government Area. The military received the information and dispatched a Nigerian Air Force which shelled the building.Terrorist leaders and footsoldiers under tree covers were struck with several insurgents obliterated.

NAF spokesperson, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet said the offensives in collaboration with ground forces would continue. Launched in October 2018, Op Whirl Punch is a unit of Op Sharan Daji securing Kaduna-Abuja highway, around Birnin Gwari and Niger State.
