Members of the EYN (Ekklesiyar Yan'uwa of Nigeria) Church prayed in their building demolished by the Borno State Government on Sunday. In a brazen manner
Members of the EYN Church prayed in their building demolished by the Borno State Government on Sunday.
In a brazen manner last Thursday, the Borno Geographic Information System pulled down the structure despite pleas. The agency claimed that the religious centre breached land administration and urban development laws. The EYN branch is located at the Maduganari area of Maiduguri, Borno capital. There is at least one casualty; five others severely wounded.
The Christian community is alleging that forces are bent on trampling on the religion, especially in Nigeria’s North.
