The FRSC Sector Commander in Delta State, Patrick Okoyeocha, revealed this.
The Federal Road Safety Commission has commenced a computer-based test for Nigerian applicants from driving schools before the issuance of a driver’s licence.
According to him, it has become necessary for the commission to enlighten the public on this upgrade, so as to accommodate motorcycles, tricycles and articulated vehicles. “The CBT test comes into effect on June 1, after a successful trial from May 6 to May 30 and so far, the CBT has recorded 80 per cent success in all registered driving schools across the nation,” he said.
