Nigerian Army speaks on officer arrested for cultism
The Headquarters 4 Brigade of the Nigerian Army has reacted to the arrest of its personnel by the Edo State Police Command for cultism.
Captain Mohammed Maidawa, Assistant Director, Army Public Relations, in a statement on Saturday, said the Army does not allow any of its personnel to belong to any confraternity and that whoever crosses the red line will face the full rigours of military discipline.
“Thus, his conduct is a complete negation of the minimum behavioural conduct expected from a personnel of the Nigerian Army. “The general public should be rest assured that the case will be thoroughly investigated and the military justice system will take it course.”
