The voting materials were destroyed by the thugs at wards two, three, and four in the house of assembly election in constituency two, Ogbia LGA of Bayelsa.

The armed thugs reportedly invaded the poling units, chased voters away, and set some of the voting materials ablaze.Advertisement He said voting has stopped at the affected polling units, adding that effort is on to arrest the perpetrators. “We were able to retrieve some of the voting materials,” he said. “Effort is on to get the perpetrators arrested.”The governor through Daniel Alabrah, his chief press secretary, asked the police to ensure that the attackers are arrested and made to face justice.
