Nigeria vs Cameroon: Atiku reacts as Super Eagles qualify for AFCON quarter-final
Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has hailed Nigeria’s Super Eagles for qualifying for the quarter-final stage of the Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON 2019.Odion Ighalo opened scoring in the 19th minute, after his shot was deflected in by Banana.
The Indomitable Lions fought back to lead 2-1 before the break, thanks to goals from Stephane Bahoken and Clinton N’Jie.Reacting, Atiku said he was proud of the team.“Congratulations @NGSuperEagles on your quarterfinal qualification. We are proud of you. #TotalAFCON2019 #NGACMR”
