The Punch reports that the federal government is set to launch three new national identity cards in May 2024, with a target of providing them to about 104 million citizens. The newspaper says Abba Yusuf, the governor of Kano, has urged the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to release the result of its probe into the alleged dollar bribery video involving Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor of Kano.
