The national secretariat of the Nigeria Startup Act has organised a workshop tagged ‘Ecosystem engagement’ for stakeholders in the Information Communication Technology field in Osun State, following moves by the state government to domesticate the Startup Act.

She added that during the workshop participants were trained on how to access funding and support embedded in the Startup Act.

In his remarks, the Coordinating Director of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology, Office of the Governor, Mr Kehinde Jimoh, said when the Startup Act becomes operational in the state, it would address the challenge of unemployment among the youth. He also noted that input from experts was sought at every stage that the Act had gone through to ensure that it met the aim of the state government to empower the youth.All rights reserved.
