Vice-President Kashim Shettima of Nigeria will participate in the international extractive and energy conference in Abidjan, aiming to share Nigeria's expertise and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders.
Vice-President Kashim Shettima of Nigeria is set to attend the international exhibition of extractive and energy resources ( SIREXE ) in Abidjan , Côte d'Ivoire. The five-day conference, titled 'Policies and Strategy for the Sustainable Development of the Extractive and Energy Industries', is scheduled from November 27 to December 2.
Shettima was welcomed by Kacou Houadja Léon Adom, the Minister of foreign affairs, African integration and diaspora of Côte d'Ivoire, and Mamadou Sangafowa-Coulibaly, the minister of mines, oil and energy. The conference will facilitate collaboration, exchange, and investment among stakeholders from the mining, petroleum, and energy sectors, aiming at sustainable growth for African economies. Shettima will take the opportunity to share Nigeria's experiences in hydrocarbon exploration and production
