During a dialogue with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palais des Élysées, Tinubu outlined several initiatives his government will implement, including innovative return-to-class programs, skills development, and a supportive framework for education.
The World Bank previously reported that there are 11 million out-of-school children in Nigeria, while UNESCO reported 20 million in a 2022 statement. Tinubu also discussed the progress made in the peace-building process, acknowledging the challenges posed by insecurity in some regions. Macron praised Nigeria's growth potential and emphasized the importance of investing in educational initiatives
