“11:50pm 30th April- 1932 confirmed cases of COVID19 in Nigeria.”

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday confirmed a total number of new 204 coronavirus cases in the country and also a total of seven deaths in the last 24 hours.

Kaduna, which is currently on a 30-day lockdown, confirmed three new cases while Oyo, Delta and Nasarawa states recorded two new cases each.“11:50pm 30th April- 1932 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria,” NCDC tweeted on Thursday night.Nigeria will begin a “phased and gradual” easing of more than four weeks of lockdowns in the national capital and the largest city on May 4, President Muhammadu Buhari said in an address on Monday.

Buhari said the lockdowns had come at a “very heavy economic cost,” stripping many citizens of their livelihoods.
