The Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu Nigeria (AMEN), Rev Fr. Ejike Mbaka has lamented that despite Nigeria being blessed with everything, people are subjected to untold hardship as a result of bad leadership. The Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev Callistus Onaga had in October, 2022 posted Fr Mbaka out of Adoration Ministry Catholic Chaplaincy to Monastery following June ban of church activities in the ministry.However, after about eight months in monastery to reflect over his activities in the past, his supporters trooped out in large numbers to the Akanu Ibiam International airport to receive the returning priest who became popular for his spiritual works and controversial prophecies.
Mbaka arrived at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos on January 3rd 2023 via the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta. He arrived at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, on January 4, 2023 to a rosy welcome. Nigerian Tribune reports the Catholic cleric made his first statement on Friday during his first sermon at the church’s prayer ground, saying “Nigeria is blessed with everything but cursed with bad leadership.”
Fr Mbaka, had upon his return declared 2023 as the year of favour while praying that the congregants would not labour in vain.
