Nigeria election: NUPENG, PENGASSAN reacts to Buhari’s win over Atiku
t Muhammadu Buhari’s victory over Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Saturday’s presidential election.
The statement read, “On behalf of the entire members of Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers and Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria we wish to congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR on his re-election as the President and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria at the February 23rd presidential elections for another term of four years.
“We also use this opportunity to congratulate the people of Nigeria for exercising their civic right to vote and for making a historic step towards the consolidation of democracy and deepening its virtues in the country.
