Nigeria Decides: Plateau REC should be held responsible for any breakdown of law and order – PDP

This time, the main opposition, PDP in Plateau State said the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the State, Alhaji Husseini Halilu PaiThe party stated this through its Chairman in the state, Hon. Damishi Sango, while addressing journalists at its State Secretariat in Jos.

The chairman saluted the “commitment and resilience” of the party’s supporters in seeking to chart a new course for a “united, secure and prosperous Plateau”. “There was clear pressure on the Returning Officer to declare the result in favour of APC”, he lamented. The PDP Chieftain maintained that, “In the Northern Zone, we received reports from INEC officers on ground and our agents that PDP had roundly won the election.

“We are therefore alerting the nation and the world to hold the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Husseini Halilu Pai responsible for any breakdown of law and order.
