'We in the military formation have designed formidable strategies to end banditry because it has become a teething problem to the masses', he lamented.

'I am assuring the general public that the constant news of kidnappings along the road will no longer occur because our men are fully ready for the kidnappers' He further stated that the troops of the military were very ready to battle the bandits on operation fire for fire, assuring that, the battle would soon come to an end. He, however, appealed to members of the communities to assist the military and other security agencies with useful information to tackle the terrorists.
