Niger State water corporation laments debt of over N1bn says top govt officials, military, others do not pay bills
According to him, some of the state House of Assembly members have refused to pay their water rates for between two and three years, adding that the corporation is handicapped as it can not disconnect the offenders.
“We are grappling with a lot of financial challenges as a result of non- payment of water bills by consumers such as top government officials, the Military, and Paramilitary, Institutions as well as other members of the public.
