The interior ministry of Niger Republic's new ruling junta has banned all public demonstrations after supporters of the coup set fire to ousted president's party headquarters. The small group of arsonists broke away from a larger show of support for the coup leaders outside parliament on Thursday. According to BBC, police fired tear gas to disperse those who had gone to PNDS Tarraya party headquarters, where people were also stoning and burning cars.
