The Director of the department, Bar. Mairo Mohammed Man made the disclosure in Minna.
The legal practitioner, however, explained that there were other cases of gender-based violence being perpetrated in the state that were not being reported to the development. She revealed that gender violence emanates from disagreements between spouses, house maintenance crises, and family interference, among others.
