The governor said his administration will not tolerate youth restiveness, adding that judiciary workers must stop approving unlawful bail and acquittals to offenders. He said safety of lives and property will be prioritised, adding that internally displaced persons will be returned to their ancestral homes.Speaking on agricultural potential for food security, he said fertilisers will be made available to farmers at a subsidised rate.Insecurity in Niger has led to the displacement of residents and the shut down of secondary schools in Shiroro, Rafi and Munya, where banditry operations are active.
