Sustainability Pathways for Africa (SP4A), a non-governmental organisation, has called for the federal government’s intervention in mitigating the impact of flooding in Mbiama, Ahoada west LGA of Rivers.

“Sustainability Pathways for Africa recognizes the community’s need for long-term solutions and implores relevant Nigerian government agencies and non-governmental organisations to assist Mbiama and other communities at high risk of flooding with timely measures to reduce their vulnerability to flooding, as well as a sincere, credible, and inclusive process of relief, resettlement, and post-flooding events,” Okorie said.
