The Punch reports that the supply of crude oil in naira to the Dangote Petrochemical Refinery by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company , will last for six months in the first instance, pending a further review by the technical committee. Nigerian Tribune reports that unions, under the aegis of the Joint Action Committee of Local Government-based Unions, have urged the federal government to make workers’ salaries first-line charge on the federation account — and paid directly to the Local Government Service Commission. The newspaper says Ola Olukoyede, chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission , said court orders restricted the commission’s investigation in 10 states.
