Reports of the conduct of the presidential and national assembly elections dominated the cover pages of Nigerian newspapers.
The Nation reports that Bola Tinubu, presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress , is leading in south-west, north-west, and north-central geopolitical zones as results of the presidential election were coming in. The newspaper says the Independent National Electoral Commission has lost 11 BVAS machines to thugs.
