Newly inducted 192 medical lab scientists charged on professionalism ⬇️

One hundred and ninety-two graduates of Imo State University , Owerri, have been certified members of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria .

At the induction ceremony, held at the University Auditorium, at the weekend, the Registrar, MLSCN, Dr. Tosan Erhabor, urged the new inductees to prioritise human lives over money making, and always uphold the ethics and code of conduct of the profession. He expressed worry that some medical laboratory scientists, especially newly certified ones, tend to play down accurate reports of diagnosis and saving lives, but focus more on how to make money.
