The US Federal Bureau of Investigation says it has identified the suspect in the vehicle crash that left 10 dead as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, from Texas, and an army veteran.a pickup truck into a crowd celebrating New Year’s Day on Wednesday in New Orleans, a city in Louisiana, and immediately opened fire, injuring dozens, including two police officers.
Law enforcement officials said Jabbar was killed in a shootout with officers, noting that they did not think he was “solely responsible”.
