NERC has asked consumers to report distribution companies (DisCos) that refuse to provide cables and transformers.

The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission has asked consumers to report distribution companies that refuse to provide cables and transformers.“It is the duty of your DisCo to provide transformers, cables and poles,” NERC said.

“If your DisCo is asking you to provide any of these, kindly reach out to this dedicated email and phone number set-up to address these issues; Email:NERC also encouraged the public to use the call centre for any form of complaints by dialling the numbers “02013444331 or 09088999244 or send an email toAisha Mahmud, NERC’s commissioner and customer affairs, said it is not the responsibility of customers to procure transformers for the DisCos.
