The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has provided relief items to the community of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) who were affected by a recent fire disaster in Karonmajiji, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. The donation aims to alleviate the economic hardship faced by the victims.

“Persons with disabilities do not deserve just pity; what they deserve is support to trigger and activate their latent capacities. As the saying goes behind every disability there are tremendous abilities.” Umar however, warned that the relief items are not for sale in no circumstance should they be sold but must be distributed to victims of the fire disaster
