The Nation Newspaper Ndume hails Tinubu for cybersecurity levy suspension
In the wake of widespread criticisms of the cybersecurity levy, the Senate Chief Whip, Senator Ali Ndume has praised President Bola Tinubu for listening to the people and halting its implementation.
During an interview on Sunday, May 12, on Arise News’ “The Morning Show” programme, the Senator highlighted certain ambiguities in the cybercrime law that needed to be addressed.Ndume explained that upon taking office, the Tinubu-led administration commenced work to promptly tackle the issue of cybercrime which he argued was a stain on the country’s reputation.
The Senator made it clear that the current administration did not intend to worsen Nigerians’ circumstances in the face of the challenges plaguing the country.
