The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency Kogi command, says it has seized 1,699.2kg assorted drugs since the beginning of 2023.
Speaking during a media briefing to mark the UN International Day Against Drug Abuse and Trafficking, Abdulkadir Fakai-Abdullahi, the state commander, said the assorted drugs seized include cannabis sativa, codeine, methamphetamine, exol-5, Diazepam, tramadol, and pentazocine.Fakai-Abdullahi added that many of the suspects had already been charged in court while the command has recorded three convictions.
“All hands must be on deck since the agency cannot do it alone, everyone must give us a helping hand.”
