and other public entities should be well funded to enable them compete with their counterparts in the private sector for optimal performance.
Adegboruwa, who gave the advice in his keynote address at a retreat for NDDC’s Directorate of Legal Services in Lagos, said funding, such as paying wages commensurate and competitive with the private sector will enhance their performances.He said: “From experience, when people in the public sector are encouraged, funded and remunerated, they perform better than those in the private sector. That’s why I cited Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, an agency powered by the police.
