The Niger Delta Congress has drawn the attention of South-South state governments, communities and citizens to the 2023 early flood warning.
A statement on Tuesday by NDC spokesperson, Mudiaga Ogboru recalled similar warnings issued last year prior to devastating floods that swept through the region. Ogboru advised the states and community leaders to educate citizens on flooding, how to prepare themselves and likely evacuation, among others.
