The Oyo/Osun Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has handed over 53 seized sacks of fake pharmaceutical drugs worth N1.7 billion to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) for destruction and further investigations.

He said the unit also seized other items against the extant Customs laws worth N299.6 million for the period of March to April 16. MEANWHILE, NCS has identified Customs Assistant ll Auwal Haruna as its personnel killed in a mob attack on Wednesday morning in Katsina State. NCS in a statement by its National Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Maiwada, on behalf of the Comptroller General of Customs, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death.
