NCDMB says the oil industry contracting cycle has been reduced to six months due to President Bola Tinubu's directives on local content operations.

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board says the oil industry contracting cycle has been reduced to six months due to President Bola Tinubu’s directives on local content operations.

“We’ve eliminated middlemen from the oil and gas industry value chain and contributed to shortening the oil industry contracting cycle to six months, courtesy of the three Presidential Directives on Local Content operations issued by President Bola Tinubu in March 2024,” he said. “For the companies who have left the shore of Nigeria, we should be able to bring them back to continue doing operations and respect Nigeria’s content as per the president’s directive,” Ogbe said.
