The Nigerian Navy has suspended the resumption for training of its new recruits who are candidates of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School, Batch 30, as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Defence Headquarters, Abuja, which stated this on Tuesday, added that the candidates, who were successful in written examinations, were initially scheduled to commence training at the NNBTS, Onne, Port-Harcourt in Rivers State on Friday.

The DMO Coordinator, Maj. Gen. John Enenche, said, “The navy has suspended the resumption for training of successful candidates of the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Batch 30.
