Navy redeploys senior officers as Edo, others get new CPs

This comes as the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, ordered the immediate posting of eight new commissioners of police.

A statement yesterday in Abuja by the Director of Naval Information, Commode Suleiman Dahun, indicated that the new Chief of Policy and Plans, Naval Headquarters, is Rear Admiral Ifeola Mohammed, taking over from Rear Admiral Obi Ofodile, who headed for the Defence Headquarters as Chief of Defence Administration.

Others are: Nwachukwu Enwonwu, ; Evelyn T. Peterside, CP Eastern Port; Okon Etim Ene, CP EOD; Bello Maikwashi, CP Airport Command, and Olukolu Tairu Shina, CP Anti-Fraud Unit . The reoorganisation also affected Rear Admiral Segun Adebari, who has been posted to Defence Headquarters as Director of Plans from the Nigerian Navy Holdings Limited.
