June 28, 2024 8:55 pmNatasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the senator representing Kogi central, has appointed 100 constituency aides.

In a statement on Thursday, Akpoti-Uduaghan said the motive behind appointing 100 aides is to strengthen representation in the state. “As senator representing the Kogi Central District, I thought it good to engage the services of 100 dynamic men and women across all 57 wards of Kogi central for strengthening representation,” the statement reads.

“These men and women, both old and young, make up not only the geographical coverage of our communities but also the various professional and artisanal groups.“They shall be placed on a monthly salary for the entire tenure of my engagement as their senator at the national assembly. First salary to be paid on the 30th of June 2024.

Dissatisfied with the outcome of the election, Natasha approached the tribunal with a petition, seeking to nullify the victory of Sadiku-Ohere and her declaration as the winner.
