The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure, on Monday, revealed plans to manufacture locally made transformers as part of efforts to reduce power prices, address deficits in power supply, and resolve the country’s epileptic power supply.
Oluwaseyi while revealing that over a hundred persons have been sent to undergo technical and technology transfer training in China, stated that the agency has taken on the challenge of rectifying the country’s epileptic power issues. He said, “The agency has sent more than a hundred persons to China for training and technology transfer and they are currently at the last stage of the process and very soon, we are going to start production of transformers. All pending issues on power supply will be defeated when the company starts operation and the capacity of our power holding companies will be greatly improved.
