The Nasarawa State Football Association local council has announced Wednesday, October 18, for the screening of aspirants. The electoral sub-committee of the Hon. Aliyu Bello-led Normalization Committee made the announcement in a statement released on Monday. The screening process is set to take place at 4:00p:m.

across various locations, including Lafia, Doma, Akwanga, Keffi and Karu, simultaneously. The committee further fixed October 19 as the day for addressing appeals lodged by dissatisfied aspirants. The appeal sub-committee will convene at High Court No 1 in Keffi to review and settle appeals from candidates across the state. It further stated that the final list of qualified candidates will be published after the determination of these appeals.

The committee has instructed that all appeals must be submitted to the secretary of the Nasarawa State Football Association Normalization Committee immediately after the screening exercise. The election is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 20. The statement reads in part; “The appeal subcommittee shall sit at High Court No 1. Keffi to determine all appeals across the state.
