The Nation Newspaper NANS resolves disputes as factional senate president steps down
The factional Senate president of the National Association of Nigerian Students , Ekundayo Elvis has stepped down and joined forces with the Lucky Emonefe led
In December last year, the NANS election produced two factional presidents led by Comrade Pedro Chibuzor Obi and Emonefe. Elvis maintained that henceforth, NANS would be under one umbrella body of students both at home and in the diaspora. “The defunt president is not cajole to do this but because students need to benefit, we must come together.
He also pledged that the association would come together to avoid any situations of factional group that would emanate during its convention and elections.
