NANS faults cancellation of WASSCE
The Joint Campus Committee of the National Association of Nigerian Students , Ondo State Axis has faulted the cancellation of 2020 West African School Certificate Examination in the country.
Chairman, NANS Ondo Axis, Comrade Akinteye Babatunde, stated this while speaking to journalists in Akure in commemoration of the 8th remembrance anniversary of four students leaders who died in a road accident.Comrade Akinteye who called for the sack of the Minister of Education, Mr. Adamu Adamu, called for reopening of schools across the country.
According to him, “We believe government is continuum. The fallen heroes died when they travelled to Abuja in company of Governor Olusegun Mimiko to honour him. But they have been abandoned since July 13, 2012. If they had not died, they would have been taking care of their parents and families.”
