The minister emphasised the need for further consultation before implementing changes, highlighting the importance of being sensitive to the plight of Nigerians amidst economic challenges. Concerned Nigerlites Organisation, in collaboration with Bola Ahmed Tinubu Support organisation, National Youth Council of Nigeria and others, has opposed the planned national protest, noting that it is not solution to the socio-political and economic crises bedeviling the country.
A Bauchi-based group, Advocacy for Integrity and Rule of Law Initiative , has decried the incessant loss of lives on Bauchi roads, attributing the cause to the consumption of hard drugs by drivers.
