Naira redesign: cenbank instructs banks to open on Saturdays | TheCable

According to NAN, Osita Nwanisobi, director, corporate communications department of the apex bank, said this at the CBN fair in Ilorin on Thursday.to redesign, produce, release and circulate a new series of three banknotes out of the existing eight banknotes.The decision has continued to generate public outbursts, as experts insist it would negatively affect the economy.
He said deposit money banks had been directed to immediately start returning the existing currencies to the CBN.
