To help tackle the challenge of portable water in Ewutuntun and Mafoluku communities of Lagos, the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company has inaugurated borehole projects in two schools in the communities.
He also stated that stakeholders had to come together to support the government in achieving its dream of providing a better future for pupils.While appreciating NAHCO for coming through for the schoolchildren, the Head of Mobilisation at the Local Government Education Authority, Mrs Florence Aderemi, said that the presence of the borehole facilities would lead to an increase in enrollment and retention of children in the schools.
She pointed out that it had always been a painful experience for her to see the schoolchildren going out of school premises in search of water.
