National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has reiterated its resolve to attain World Health Organisation Maturity Level Four certification with a view to positioning Nigerian pharmaceutical products for favourable competition at the global market.

“If we attain Maturity Level 4, it means that any product NAFDAC approves can be traded globally. The Level 3 means that the quality of our drugs is better, clinical trials are better, guidelines are better, regulatory inspection, laboratory listing is better, market control and other operations. Adeyeye said QMS in the establishment had transitioned over the years to a robust platform for institutionalising resourceful leadership, evidence-based decision-making and engagement of competent workforce for effective customer-focused service delivery.
